Hotel Alimandi Vaticano The hotel is located right opposite the vatican museums, close to may restaurants. Our room was modern, clean and with very comfortable beds. Overall, we had a very good stay.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano the only problem we had was that the directions from the metro stop were not accurate. we ended up having to carry out suitcases up 100+ steps... there must have been a better way to indicate how to find the hotel from the metro also, Aldo at the front desk was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. We appreciated his kindness and smile.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano My husband and I visited Rome for Easter 2007. Prior to staying here, we stayed at another hotel on the other side of Rome, and we're both very sorry we did. This hotel was unbelievable! They truly have a multi-lingual staff that were not only friendly, but very helpful, so much as to make last minute reservations for us at a very respected restaurant. The cleaning service was unparallel. The comfort of the room was outstanding, large, king size bed, room elegantly decorated, marble flooring, generous room and bathroom size, windows that opened up into a court yard. The breakfast display was VERY generous, incoporating breakfast traditions from both Italy and America with fresh fruits, yogurt, nuts, cereal, baked goods, eggs, bacon, omlettes, pancakes, and a variety of juices and espresso-based beverages. This hotel is the PERFECT location to go to the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter'sd Basilica. You could literally roll out of bed, go down stairs, walk across the street and you're there! If you enjoy a leisurely walk, the Castle Santangelo is just beyond the Vatican. A little further down the road is the Pantheon and several shops to purchase the latest in Roman fashion. If you enjoy longer walks, the Coloseum, St. John Lateran, and the Spanish Steps are about 3-4 miles away. Finally, they had a courtesy shuttle that took us to the airport, the day of our departure. Everything was so wonderful, despite the mayhem in the streets during Easter, the beauty, comfort, and facilities of this hotel alone made it very difficult to leave!!! Should we ever return to Rome, this is the only place we'll stay!

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano All the staff were extremely helpful, and changed our room for a much better one when we were disturbed by the noise of the power generator in the corridor outside. They also recommended really good restaurants and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano Overall hotel stay was excellent. Location was ideal for walking around Rome and seeing all the major sites. Breakfast was average as there was not a great selection of foods available (no cold meats and minimal rolls). The road outside the hotel is a little noisy as sound is bounced off the vatican walls and the buildings. Rooms were excellently equiped and spotless. Check in and out was very efficient and the people there very helpful. Had a great stay and would go back to the hotel.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano really nice mattresses, marble bathroom with bathtub, roof terrace all very nice. We got the delux double for a view, the view is of the wall of vatican city - not worth an additional price. directly across from the entrance to the vatican made it convenient. There is also a courtesey shuttle to both airports, unfortunately it doesn't run on sunday.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano My wife and I stayed for three nights, Friday to Sunday. We were both very very pleased with this hotel. In fact, if we ever return to Rome, this is the first place I will check for availability. In my opinion, there is no need to look elsewhere. The location is very good, in particular, if your Rome visit is intended to include the Vatican, then this hotel is excellently located. It really is situated across the road from the entrance to the Vatican Museum and no more then 5 minutes walk from St. Peter's Square. I have already recommended this hotel on two occassions since returning - five days ago. On the negative side, I did find the 'hot' food available at breakfast not that hot - however - a notice on display does state such and the use of the available microwave is recomended. Also, our room was without the complementary shampoo and shower gels on one day. These are small matters and as I stated above, I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano Very nice, clean room. Extremely helpful staff at the front desk. Good location, directly opposite the entrance to the Vatican museum, a short walk to St. Peters Square and the tour buses. You can walk from the hotel to the other attractions, but its far quicker to hop in a taxi for about 10 euro to any of the central tourist attractions on the way to the Termini Station...

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano We recently spent three weeks in Italy and our time spent at Hotel Alimandi Vaticano was very enjoyable. The staff were extremely helpful in answering any queries, the rooms were generous in size including the bathroom and very clean. We thank you for making that part of our trip a pleasure and we would certainly return to this hotel when back in Rome. We have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Alimandi Vaticano to others. Hotel Alimandi Vaticano Hotel super bien placé, en face de l'entrée du musée du Vatican, hôtel entièrement rénové, chambre de luxe, spacieuse, salle de bain superbe avec tout les détails cosmétiques à disposition, chambre spacieuse, lit très confortable bien que les matelas soient assez durs. Vraiment je recommande cet hôtel et je pense que je réserverai une prochaine fois à L'Alimandi. Une précision pour ceux qui craigne le bruit, demander une chambre côté cour car ma chambre était côté rue, cela ne m'a pas géné car je mets des mousses dans les oreilles pour la nuit, mais mon mari a été un peu géné de ce côté là. Seul et unique bémol! (les fenêtres ont un double vitrage)

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano excellent séjour dans cet hotel que nous recommendons à tous les touristes qui souhaitent être très proches des principaux sites.Parcours de ces derniers à pied facilement.5 mn de la place ST Pierre. l'hotel est situé juste en face l'entrée du musée du Vatican. Trés beau décor Personnel à l'écoute, possibilité de consulter internet avec une carte pré-payée. Garage à disposition avec supplément de 20 euros la nuit. réception souvent trilingue ( anglais, français). Petit déjeuner très copieux et varié possibilité de déjeuner à midi pour 20 euros à ce jour dans le restaurant annexe du même nom.

Hotel Alimandi Vaticano Ein echter Volltreffer....die Mitarbeiter super hilfsbereit und freundlich, unser 4-Bett Zimmer für Familien ideal und damit im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auch o.k., eine eigene Terasse, sehr sauber weil neu renoviert, umfangreiches Frühstück. Das einzige was verbesserungswürdig wäre ist der Kaffee zum Frühstück. Für alle die nicht so gut zu Fuß sind könnte auch der Weg zur U-Bahn ein wenig weit sein...für uns mit 2 Kindern war´s kein Problem. Wann immer wir wieder nach Rom kommen...Hotel Alimandi unsere Wahl.
