Hotel Ambasciatori Good service, good rooms, very good location in the city. The roof terrace provides excellent view, and nice place for breakfast or for some wine in the evening. The only inconvenience is the that the hotel is in a residential building, occupying the 3rd, 5th, 6th end 7th floors having only a small elevator for 2 persons. Otherwise it is a good urban hotel offering good value/price.

Hotel Ambasciatori An excellent hotel close to the old town and main areas of interest. Very friendly and efficient English speaking staff and relaxing ambience in public areas. Great roof terrace for breakfast with wonderful views of the city and a reasonable selection from the buffet bar. Bedrooms are a good size with a fridge and bathrooms are good quality and well equipped including hairdryer although a little on the small side. There was some road noise from my room at the front of the hotel so ask for a room at the rear or take ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I would definitely stay there again and would reconnend this hotel to anyone looking for good value hotel accommodation in a city which is one of the more expensive cities in Italy.

Hotel Ambasciatori Hotel was very nice - really central and quick to get to from bus and train station - terrace was fantastic with amazing views and one of best breakfasts in Italy we've had - went at 7:30 and pastries were still warm! Staff very friendly and manned small bar with our beverage requests throughout the day - really nice to have filtered water on tap as well instead of haivng to buy endless bottles of the stuff. Palermo on the other hand was a very polluted, dirty, almost squalid city which we did not like very much - probably the last place to go in Sicily if you had a choice - but the hotel was a great oasis in the middle of the uproar!
