The Hotel Astor is located in the historic city centre, is 2 star hotel with a very good value for money. Recently refurbished, with modern furniture and amenities.
Hotel Astor is situated in the old town centre of the city, in a very quiet area. Car parking is available in the adjacent street using council parking permits issued at the reception desk, or in the two private car parks nearby. In addition, the central location of the hotel means that all the places of historic and cultural interest and entertainment can be easily reached by foot. The hotel has recently been modernised and provides a warm, comfortable atmosphere and many facilities.
The hotel assures you the warmest of welcomes; its English and German-speaking staff will be happy to help you.
Hotel Astor provides the following facilities: direct line telephone from all rooms, satellite T.V., heating with fan-heaters, wirles, fax and reading room.
Cómo llegar
From Pisa Central Railway Station: Leaving the railway station behind you, go towards the town centre. After about 400 metres you will arrive at the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II roundabout. Go around the roundabout turning left into the adjacent Piazza S. Antonio. From here turn right into Via Crispi, towards the hospital; the first road on the right is Via Manzoni.
From Galileo Galilei Airport: Leaving the airport behind you, go into Via Cannicci and then Via dell'Aeroporto, towards the city centre. At the end of this road you go over the San Giusto railway bridge and, when you have crossed it, turn left and then right into Via Fratti. When you get to Viale Bonaini turn left towards the Piazza V. Emanuele II roundabout. Go almost all the way around this roundabout and turn into the adjacent Piazza S. Antonio. From this square go right into Via Crispi, towards the hospital. The first road on the right is Via Manzoni.
From the Motorway/Main Road: The nearest exit arriving from any direction (Genoa, Florence, Leghorn) is "Pisa Centro/Aeroporto". When you get to the airport and are leaving it behind you, take Via dell'Aeroporto, towards the city centre. At the end of this road you go over the San Giusto railway bridge and, when you have crossed it, turn left and then right into Via Fratti. Hotel Astor Se encuentra cerca de la estación y a pocos minutos del centro de Pisa. Nuestra habitación era muy espaciosa y confortable. Personal amable y acogedor. Volvèremos.

Hotel Astor Todo iba relativamente bien hasta que al entrar en la habitacion me di cuenta de que el lavatorio estaba danado (tuberia rota)... al reportarlo, me dijeron que no podian arreglarlo en ese momento y que no me podian cambiar de habitacion.

Hotel Astor Good location, 5 minutes from the train station and 10/15 minutes from the city centre. Rooms are very clean and comfy. We might go back.

Hotel Astor Not too far from the main sights of Pisa. Rooms are a bit on a small side but cosy and clean. Staff were very helpful giving us many tips and info to visit the city.

Hotel Astor After looking for a room to hold 5 people (2 adults and 3 young children) this hotel came up on reading the comments i decided to book it. I have to say it was great we were given our own seperate small apartment a stones throw from the hotel it was brilliant for young families. The room was clean and tidy excellent location to train station and leaning tower of Pisa. The children age 4 7 and 8 thought it was great. We had to lift the matress off the top bunk as it was to high for our children but the room was big enough to place it on the floor. A fab hotel for that drop your bags and explore weekend. Hotel staff were very informative spoke good english and were happy to help recommending a good restarant. Although Pisa would not be a town i would return to this hotel was good cheap and felt safe. I would recomend it to friends and family.

Hotel Astor They allowed us to leave our car outside the hotel, but we were unaware of the restrictions in force about parking in the restricted zone. The web-site indicated no breakfast was available, but in fact it was, and although simple it was quite acceptable.

Hotel Astor Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato all'astor per 2 notti e ci siamo trovati veramente bene. La camera non era molto grande ma molto pulita ed arredata bene. il bagno era fornito di box doccia e servizi nuovi. Si dorme bene perchè i letti sono comodi e la camera molto silenziosa che dava su un cortiletto laterale. L'albergo si trova in una posizione centralissima ottima per vedere tutte le bellezze della città. il proprietario è un signore sulla sessantina molto simpatico, cordiale, ed educato. se la sera pensate di rientrare dopo le 12e30 vi lascia la chiave e aprite voi stessi. Hotel Astor La zona e' perfetta per visitare il centro di Pisa, non molto distante dalla Torre di Pisa. Alloggiavamo in una doppia standard, pulita e tranquilla. E0 un hotel piccolo e accogliente.

Hotel Astor Comodamente situato tra l'aeroporto ed il centro citta'. La camera pulita ed impeccabilmente pulita. Lo staff e' sempre stato cortese e disponibile.

Hotel Astor Si trova a pochi passi dalla stazione e a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro. La camera non era molto spoaziosa ed un bagno piuttosto piccolo ma tutto sommato confortevole e pulita. Staff gentile e molto disponibile.

Hotel Astor Ottima posizione, a pochi passi dalla staziuone ferroviaria, il centro dista 15 minuti a piedi. Ci siamo trovati benissimo. Hotel semplice ma pulito.

Hotel Astor Nous avions un appart pour 5 : magnigique salle de bain. Hôtel bien situé dans Pise (près de la gare et du centre!).

Hotel Astor Bien situé à quelques minutes de la gare, 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville. La chambre avait une salle de bain très petite, mais était très bien pour une nuit. Accueil chaleureux!

Hotel Astor Die Hotelzimmer wurden vor kurzem erst renoviert und somit war das Zimmer wie auch das Badezimmer in einwandfreiem Zustand. Da ich ein Hotel in einer solchen Stadt nur zum Übnernachten buche, war es völlig zufriedenstellend. Am meisten hat mir zentrale Lage des Hotels gefällen. Innerhalb von nichtmal 10 Minuten Fußmarsch war man bereits am schiefen Turm von dem alles Sehenswürdigkeiten abgingen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der einzigste Minuspunkt würde ich aufgrund fehlender Englischkenntnisse geben. Man konnte sich nur auf italienisch mit dem Personal unterhalten, was für mich aber nicht weiter schlimm war, da ich einen Italiener an meiner Seite hatte! Weiterer Minuspunkt war das fehlende WLan um Touren für den nächsten Tag zu planen. Aber es gibt die Möglchkeit eine Karte zu kaufen, wleche aber leider mit 5 Euro/Std sehr teuer war! Am Empfang hatte man die Möglichkeit in einer kleinen Sitzecke einen Esspresso zu trinken. Das Hotel hat 2 Sterne, meiner Meinung würde es 3 Sterne verdienen. Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufirieden und würde es jederzeit weiterempfehlen, bzw. selbst nochmals dort nächtigen!
