"The Hotel CORONA is a romantic palace of the 18th Century, situated in the centre of Bagni di Lucca Terme, immersed in the green belt of Lucca province. From the rooms you can see the waterfalls of the Lima River, and look out on the "old" Royal Casinò". A disposal for the guest there are two relaxing swimming pool at the other sister Park Hotel Regina (1.200mt).
The Hotel is in Liberty Style has been all finely refurbished in recent years, much more appreciated by one-day customers and, of course, for longer staying. An ideal destination for thermal treatments and point of starting excursion and trips, very suitable also for businessmen finding modern comfort in a friendly atmosphere.

There are 14 rooms which have been completely restored in style, elegant furnished with high class furniture, which makes this Hotel superior to its standard. Each room has its own bathroom with hairdryier, curtesy set, a direct phone line, TV SAT, and minibar.

Formerly an old carriere house dating from the early 1800, today the premises offer an elegant and comfortable Restaurant next to its hotel, located in th ehistorical town of Bagni di Lucca.

The dining room has a relaxing and romantic atmphere, while its arched windows overlook the flowing waters of the Lima River, in front of the Regio Casinò. In the summer time the meals are served in the garden terrace sourrounded by scented rose bushes.

The Cuisine combines traditional dishes using local ingredients with creative techniques. Each dish is a summary of all passion and the detailed care of its patron, Mr Roberto. And his Staff, in ordet to create an unforgettable emotions: savour a variety af breads as well as home-pasta, and freshly prepared fish, tender grilled Chianina meats, and delicated desserts.

Great attention is given to the Cellar, which has over 220 labels of wines which will accentuete the flavor of every dish and compliment all your meals. Art and Wine seem to go hand in hand. So, you will enjoy drinking wine in the Restaurant's Art Gallery, a favorite place for Artists. You can taste exceptional vintage in a unusually Art Gallery.

Hotel Corona Roberto and his staff made us very welcome, the food on half board was amazing and great value. Would definately stay there again.

Hotel Corona A lovely welcome from Roberto and all members of staff. The food was excellent. The room was good. Excellent walking in the area (Sunflower Guide) and surprising local animals (porcupines!)

Hotel Corona One of the most delightful experiences in a month of traveling in Italy. The hotel staff couldn't do enough to ensure our comfort and pleasure. We will stay there again. Just loved it and the staff.

Hotel Corona We were four couples who stayed at the Corona Hotel in the middle of June and can highly recommend this hotel. Unfortunately we only booked one night as we had previously booked accommodation in Lucca, but one of the couples had booked for three nights and we all wished we could have done the same. We recommend to use this hotel as a base for Lucca, just drive down each day and back. The service was excellent, due to the wonderful manager, Roberta. We also recommend his restaurant, the food was some of the best we had in the whole of Italy, and the breakfast also, all home made jams, cakes etc. The day we checked in, everything nearby was closed, but without hesitation Roberta prepared a marvellous lunch sitting on the terrace overlooking the river which was so relaxing after a few hectic days in Florence. As the lunch was so good, we also had dinner which was even better. We all sincerely highly recommend this hotel.

Hotel Corona Das Hotel ist sehr alt und müsste dringend renoviert werden! Insbesondere auch der Badbereich. DAs PErsonal ist sehr nett, aber aufgrund der mangelnden Renovierung fühl man sich nicht wohl.
