Hotel Porta Palio The hotel is very economical and front office staff is very prompt and efficient, had to go to florence and keep my heavy luggage for a day, hotel assisted me on same and kept my luggage safe, thanks for same was a great help. Room was bit small and had almost no walking space, but basics were fine.

Hotel Porta Palio The single room was rather small, but clean and quite. They were rather busy though - it showed at breakfast time, when I had to wait a while to get the coffee. The hotel is somehow difficult to reach by public transport. I chose it mainly because I could not find a cheaper one that was not too far from the train station.

Hotel Porta Palio When we arrived, the room wasn't ready and we had to wait an hour until it was, yet we had given them an arrival time (between 12 and 1 pm). Attitude at reception was off-hand. No apology or advice was offered. We had to enquire about the bar or where we could wait until room available. Despite what it says on the website, there was no safe in the room. The restaurant was singularly lacking in atmosphere (and therefore evening clientele?) However hotel generally well-appointed and room facilities good.

Hotel Porta Palio The room was extremely small, which made it uncomfortable. There was not enough space to walk between the wardrobe and the beds, there was not enough space in the wardrobe, there was not even enough space to open the suitcase! Hpwever, the reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Hotel Porta Palio negativ: - liegt an sehr befahrener Straße, daher laut - hatten ein Raucherzimmer, der Mief wurde mehr schlecht als recht mit einem Duft übertönt - Dusche eklig gut: - Frühstücksbuffet super - Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichbar - für diesen Preis ok
