Hotel Villa Franceschi Mira

Villa Franceschi is a late XVI century architectural group, composed by 2 separated parts, which shape, joint together, a luxurious hotel of great charm and beauty.

The Villa stands in the exquisite river Brenta, in Mira Porte and it’s lightly furnished. Both buildings, the Villa and the Barchessa are surrounded by a splendid secular park extended for 33.000 square metres, which gives the guests the possibility to discover some typical romantic plants and essences of the XVIII century gardens.

THE MAIN VILLA: The Villa, mentioned throughout the XVIII century by distinguished engravers such as Coronelli and Costa, retains today a genuine Venetian atmosphere. On the first floor we find the main central corridor where 4 junior suites face. The same scheme will be found on the second noble floor with other 4 junior suites facing on the Hall. From this big Hall the guest can approach the wonderful extraordinary mansard-roof. The two 80 square metres Halls on the floors, maintains the original Venetian basement. 

In the Villa there are at the disposal of guests Restaurant, gym, sauna, parking and private landing-place on the Brenta as well. Excellent furniture, paintings and curtains weaved by the best Venetian make both buildings really precious. Two meeting-rooms able to accommodate about 70-80 people are situated on the ground floor; the ancient Kitchen and the Wine-cellar, which offer plenty of national and international wine labels, complete the floor that are lighted up by oval windows.

BARCHESSA OF VILLA FRANCESCHI: the Barchessa is the ancient rustic part of the property, where not only boats but also tools and farm carts. The owner wishes to keep the original rustic atmosphere of the ancient building. To reach this goal it has been necessary to restore everything with the outmost care . As a consequence of this philological research tissues, curtains and artisan furniture joint to Venetian terracotta and wood create an excellent harmony. 

On the ground floor you can find a wide hall with the reception Desk, the Bar and sitting areas. 

THE VILLA: The rooms, facing the garden or the placid river, provide valuable marble-made fireplaces, roofs with visible and original epoch beams. All pavements are made of rare Venetian terracotta. All the rooms provide the most modern comforts: Sat-television, minibar, telephone, Internet connection, air conditioning centralized system. The Suite with mansard roof has a Jacuzzi bathtub.

THE BARCHESSA: On the ground floor there are One Suite and three De Luxe Rooms. Two rooms are suitable to disabled people. Rooms on this side have their own independent access on the garden. On the first floor you find two De Luxe rooms, two Junior Suites one very spacious (38 mq) and  two connecting De Luxe rooms. All rooms are facing the secular park, furniture, curtains, materials and precious prints reproducing the Brenta Villas’ are all in tune with its surroundings. On the second floor there are four Suites with garret ideal solution for 4-5 people and one De Luxe room. You can enjoy a magnificent view of Mira from a little “Tower” .

Our restaurant “ La Barchessa “, a large and bright veranda overlooking the secular park will offer to our guests the best menu from the traditional venetian cuisine.
