Hotel Villa Sara Mestre
Hotel Villa Sara, completely renovated in 1993, is located in a quite area of Mestre ensuring a relaxing and comfortable stay.
From the Hotel you can easily reach in few minutes the centre of Venice, the International Airport Marco Polo and the motorway A4.
Private car park (unguarded) and a night porter.
From July 2006 the hotel offers its guests a new outdoor swimming pool with a private beach (service not included in rates)
The hotel has 15 rooms equipped with every modern comfort: television, telephone, air conditionig and private facilities with shower and hair-dryer.
Cómo llegar
By car:
- from the A4 motorway, arriving from Padova (Padua): exit at Venezia and at the roundabout take the SR11 (state-road) towards Venice. Continue to the Treviso-Trieste-Aeroporto exit and head right towards Treviso along the SR14 (Via Martiri della Libertà). Go through two intersections, then turn right into via Vallenari.
- From the A4-A27-A28 motorways: take the Mestre Tangenziale (bypass) towards Milano and exit at Mestre-Via Terraglio-Triestina. At the roundabout take the Venezia SS14 (Via Martiri della Libertà)exit, go through two intersections, make a u-turn at the third and turn right into via Vallenari.
By train: from the Venezia Mestre railway station, either take a taxi, book the hotel shuttle service or take ACTV bus line 9 heading towards La Piazza-Favaro Veneto and get off at the last stop along via Gobbi.
By airplane: from Venezia-Marco Polo Airport either take a taxi, book the hotel shuttle service or take ACTV bus line 15 heading towards Mestre and get off at via Triestina (around 1 km from the hotel).

Hotel Villa Sara Very cozy hotel, conveniently located near the train station. I was there for business not for a leisure trip but had a great stay.

Hotel Villa Sara We asked for wake up and Taxi service to the Aeroporto and it was right on time. Staff was pleasant. Food for the evening meal was good but the main item was too cold.

Hotel Villa Sara Very nice little family run Inn. People were very nice. English language is limited. Be aware that it is "remote"...make that isolated. About 1 mile from town for a restaurant or grocery store. We had no car, but fortunately, we are fit and like to walk. The on-site restaurant was unavailable as the summer season had ended. There is a lovely outside gazebo, and after our hectic vacation, we enjoyed sitting there for a relaxing evening. We also enjoyed visiting with the family owners. Very charming.

Hotel Villa Sara The staff were extremely friendly and went over and above expectations. The hotel is clean and quiet and the pool area is fantastic! This is a pefect place for a weekend get-away. It is easiest to find by car (20-25 Euros from Mestre train station) but is accessible by bus (#19 from Venice, #9 from Mestre). The bus stop is about 300 metres down a curvey side-road. Restaurants/shops are at least a kilometre away but the hotel is building a restaurant which should be open by January 2010.

Hotel Villa Sara We had an excellent experience at this villa. The rooms were spacious, the location is very quiet, the amenities are great, the pool is large and comfortable, it is a short walking distance to a direct bus to Venice, great value for the money. Only one small criticism - when we wanted a second cup of coffee for breakfast, we paid extra for a second cup. Seems to me that coffee should not be an extravagance justifying extra cost. But that's not a big deal. The villa was excellent, and we would highly recommend it.

Hotel Villa Sara For our purposes - a one night stay before flying out of Venice airport the next day, the hotel was fine. It was a quiet retreat setting and the staff were very helpful. The location, however, would not be a good to use as a place to tour Venice from. But for us it was fine.

Hotel Villa Sara A very good hotel, close to Marco Polo airport, with a lovely pool, all set in the middle of a corn field - hotel was very quiet and clean, staff were helpful - no dining room, but reasonable continental breakfast. A little difficult to find, but for proximity to Venica and airport, very good.

Hotel Villa Sara Very comfortable room. In spite of very late arrival 1130 hours was met by polite and attentive staff. Very good value stay. Will certainly use the same place on my next business trip to the area

Hotel Villa Sara Tutto ok, specialmente la disponibilità del titolare che si è adoperato a guidarci telefonicamente fino all'albergo a mezzanotte. Magari la colazione... sufficiente ma non eccellente.

Hotel Villa Sara La comodita' del servizio di pick up dall'aeroporto/stazione e' molto apprezzato per coloro che passano da Venezia per partenze/arrivi dall'aeroporto. Un kettle in camera per farsi un the'/caffe' sarebbe cosa molto gradita agli ospiti, considerando la lontananza dell'hotel da altre strutture.

Hotel Villa Sara peccato per la piscina! il piatto doccia fa fuor'uscire l'acqua durante la doccia ma l'abbodanza di asciugamani e' molto buona.nell'insieme soddisfatto,eccelente la disponibilita dei proprietari nel fornire informazioni.
